Aaron Murtagh
Director & Senior Physiotherapist
Aaron, who is originally from Ireland, relocated to the UK in 2013 to complete a Bachelor's degree in Sport Rehabilitation. After completing this degree, he went on to earn a Master's degree in Physiotherapy and Strength & Conditioning.
Aaron is passionate about athletics and has represented Ireland at the youth level. In recent years, he has balanced his own athletic pursuits with working as a sports physiotherapist and strength and conditioning coach at various athletic clubs and football teams in both Ireland and the UK.
Aaron has gained experience in a range of physiotherapy settings, including sports-related environments such as working with Widnes Vikings in the Super Rugby League, Preston North End FC, and London Colney FC. He has also worked in hospital settings treating stroke patients, respiratory and musculoskeletal conditions within the NHS, and musculoskeletal issues in private healthcare.
His diverse clinical expertise includes manipulation, rehabilitative strapping, mobilisations, soft tissue massage, and exercise prescription. In addition, Aaron is a fully trained and practising acupuncturist and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Physiotherapy.
Aaron's main areas of interest include the education and management of lower limb, lower back and neck disorders.
